Is the "Arrange Marriage" button gone for republics like rome? Am I stupid? if yes, how can you arrange marriages for everyone with a cool name for example, haha. any mods?

right now you can't manage family in any way in republics.
frankly I like that, before it made no sense that for a guy being ruler just 5 years you'll get notice about children, wives etc...

they'll do their family stuff when not ruling. ruling is stressful enough by itself :steamhappy:

but then there's the risk of a family just dying out

well yes and if it's a severe problem you can change fertility in defines file

Playing multiplayer my buddy was Egypt and most people in his family just didn't get married and he's going to lose the lagid trait.

Similarly, my Selukos trait as the Selucids is dying out as well since many of the starting characters in your family don't want to get married and procreate, so I feel like you really have to baby sit family members with those traits in order to keep them going.

that really sucks bro, try to find the 00_defines.txt file if you really do not want that stuff to happen and change fertility or try the "Arrange Marriages" mod which auto marries characters older than 34 (idk if it works with 2.0 yet, but it's worth a shot)

be careful with mods not updated for 2.0, they WILL break the game (no exception)
