Regions?

Is there a way to see what the regions are? I need to take over a specific region for a mission and I don't quite know what that entails.

Click on the regions map mode. It's in the bottom right hand corner.

I can't find it. All I can see are the top row of mapmodes. Like religion, culture, etc. I can't see the region mapmode since the new update.

click on on a blank space and then add region map mode.
