Expansion
This is just an opinion but I feel like the game should be A LOT more punishing towards massive quick expanding. I haven't played very long (like 70hrs or so) but I've noticed that in most games all small nations will get eaten up in less than 100yrs by either Rome, Carthage, Mauryan empire or the Diadochi very quickly and though revolts do occur they are put down rather easily so its like unless you're just relentlessly expanding you'll just fall behind in military levy compared to your neighbours.
Your thoughts?

Alexander the Great disapproves this post.

It does seem a tad too easy to blob , it should at least cause more tension internally. Maybe more unrest with pops of different culture groups than their overlord, slave revolts and such.

The time period was all about massive expansion- conquer or be conquered. Don't see why you should be punished for it.

You could say the same thing about ck2 and eu4 yet those games manage to balance quick expansion with negative impacts quite well where as here they dont. It also makes for ♥♥♥♥ gameplay cause you're doing nothing else but conquering

You cannot conquest as fast ingame as alexander the great, so it's fair ! if you could do as fast i would agree with more harsh expansion, but not now !

Who massively and rapidly expanded in the CK2 era? Other than a handful of exceptions who get the invasion CB in game?
