Would you buy a game that the developers have said they gave up on?
They say that they have ceased any work on it THIS year but I'm not holding my breath with Victoria 3 around the corner.
A game receiving continuous updates and DLC is not a requirement for it to be sold on Steam. I am not sure what your point is.
It's so bare bones I thought it was early access xd
Dunno what game you are playing but Imperator: Rome is not barebones at all.
Which hey, is obviously going to change in the future; and the game is not "dead", that's for sure.
Well u can't really call a DLC an update, updates r only bug fixes, but i doubt anyway anyone will give any spoilers on what they have in development, but from what i have seen they only throw a couple of 1 or 2 new things, change map a bit, and keep u going around the same old "achievements and missions", wich in my opinion is kinda bullshiet.
Welcome to paradox where in their mind a full game in reality is an early access title and dlc is an update.
