Change culture?
Hello everybody.

So far, no matter which country I'm playing with, I haven't been able to change the prevailing culture.
In the example of Saxony, the surrounding countries are pressed into the correct culture group, but not marked as Saxon. These always remain as Istwäonisch, Angelisch, Suebisch etc.

The combined cultural group is known as Germanic - can I not force my subjects into Saxony, but just settle somewhere within the cultural group?

Governors go on cultural assimilation, of course, and the appropriate buildings are also built. Primarily I treat the religious orientation (Tuist), which has no sub-grouping, and slowly but steadily grows before I switch to cultural change.

Does anyone have any tips and tricks for me? I would like to draw the culture across half the map with Saxon xD (cultur Button)

Thanks in advance

The pops should migrate naturally towards the provinces with high migration value, and get assimilated there. What is your assimilation rate? What is your migration rate? You can see these things when you click on pop details in a region.

this is my current bastarnia game. As you can see, bastarnae culture almost completly consumed the vandals as well as some other groups in the state. The cursor is hovered over my capital.

Well it depend but anyway it a strategy. First thing, religious unity will help you A LOT and instead of thinking about cultural conversion think religious conversion. of course you don't give a ♥♥♥♥ it's already the case. After that assimilate cultures that you want to keep first. for exemple in greece i always keep macedon because you get a lot everywhere. but i assimilate basicly every culture in my starter region. after that once you expend enough (and get religious unity) you put on slavery every culture you want to convert
