Playing as Rome: Optimates, Boni, or Populares? What are their end goals?

I, being a modern citizen, tend to side with the wishes of the Populares. But I see that their end goal seems to be installing an emperor (a la Caesar). I'm not sure if I want to go down the dictatorship path...

What are the end goals of the Optimates and the Boni? Where do they want the country to go?

It tells by the choice descriptions. Like for the populares it states ;
"Populares are the senators who work for the common man, or at least claim so to get popular backing and make their own political platforms relevant. What i found working effective for me is having the Optimates for the noble happiness to maximize the tech science . Having the start import with prcious metals even further 8/ happiness to nobles. After i have the trade imports to capital Rome amount up to about ten fefteen I change the law to at time get any populares, with the help of populares cencor and impose the election scew thingy. Once populares (as i was fortunaye to get a 77 yo sick consul soon to die) changed the law the first day in office to the 45 years terms and the install the boni censor and governor as Boni to loot and gain private armies and the cruel trait, and help scew with the money boost the Boni for next election when soon my populares concul dies. When died i get my long for Boni concul for eternity without the civil war for introduce dictator family (by the techtree martial special for Rome repulic). Why Boni? It has lower wages for all in public spots and have a 15 percent lower price for all buildings, except raisibg city. By this time i get some 8 thousand credits to build infrastructure in all my provinces!
This strategy i found very useful so make this a try.

Workers party is the best once you get over the threshold of limits of science tech by the fancy dynasty swamp elites party and the longer election term (whom only the facist, cough coff, party can change) has been dealt with.
