I checked the start up screen in 1.4 onwards all the major nations have their leaders changed, this is bs

That's very strange, in my game everybody is as they should be. Get a screenshot or two to see what's going on. Also do you have the new DLC? Maybe the game got messed up for people who don't have it, because I have it and everything looks normal.

Everything is normal is my game as well, even with loads of mods. Is your game corrupted or something?

The same thing has happened in my games. Almost all countries in Greece and the former Macedonian empire have their rulers replaced with some different person.

I have the lotr mod and dark age mod but they aren't selected so it shouldn't apply? It only seemed to happen after 1.41 came out.
