Game fails to launch from Paradox Launcher

haven't played in a while, thought, hey, new updates looks cool, I'll try it. Paradox Launcher launches, click "Start" red triangle says game failed to launch.

Also, uninstalling and deleting documents doesn't work either

I have the same issue. Just installed it, but it fails to launch.

I downloaded 1 GB of game files when I installed it. Is the game really this small? Its almost one third the size of CK2.

EDIT: The comparrison to CK2 is incorrect. Installed Imperator is the same size as CK2.

It might be a launcher issue. Please deinstall the launcher (a standalone program from our PDS games) from your apps. If you are on Windows, simply go to system settings -> add and remove program -> type paradox, and the launcher should come out. Remove it. Fire up the game and the launcher should be fixed.
