Console Commands

Have tried every solution on the wiki and nothing has working. I've put "-debug_mode" in the launch options and tried all the keys and combinations you can do to open the console. Anyone know how to fix this? Thanks

Same issue - wasn't it just "~" at one time???

I'm not sure tbh, I only recently started playing the game. On the wiki is there the tilde key, but also some other combinations.

"To open the console press ` (top left, below Esc)
Alternatively, try one of the following: Shift+2, ALT+2+1, Shift+3, §, ~, ^, °, ² "

well... it started to work for me....

it is the right command for the launch options:
-debug_mode

once you are in game, chose combination CTRL+SHIFT+P
then start typing debig_mode - after few letters it will give you a shorter list of commands, chose that one, hit enter

can't remember what happens next, probably that first window disappears

press "`" - usually located just before "1" on your keyboard (not the numerical one, just the one above letters) and this one opens a new window for your game commands such as listed on wiki website (tag and other)

Tried all of that as well and still nothing.

i remember it didn't work initially but then it simply started... i suppose you already have restarted your game. if not, try that as well. anything may happen.

simply keep trying until it does it... i didn't use any other "magic" way :)

Been doing that too, lol..no such luck. I'm not playing with ironman mode so it should be working. I've e-mailed paradox tech support to see if they can help.
