DLC Time Limit

Will the DLC allow one to play the main campaign longer before the game abruptly ends, or will the game start at a different time? If at a different time, how many years do we have to play before the end date?

I'd easily buy the DLC is if it just added a "Continue playing" button after the end date.

In 1.4 (coming 31.03.2020) it will be possible to continue after end date. While buying dlc is surely appreciated you dont need to buy it to extend the end date. However any achievements will be disabled after the end date

this is so cool, even though i havent reached the end date and havent actually won any campaigns i appreciate the end timer not being there because two campaigns i quit early since i felt like i was expanding to slow

I read that there will be no events either after the end date. You just get to play until the map us coloured. No pesky Christians to subvert your Empire, but the lions go hungry.
