So I'd go for I7 9700K :)
Also you should have a good GPU for that one.
This means that buying budget PSU, MB, Ram, might hinder performance or bottleneck.
Its hard to help you when we don't know what else your PC consist of.
Buying anything with a "x/k" is pointless unless you want to overclock btw.
What res do you play in ?
I have a h310m-a and my GPU is a Radeon RX 580 Aorus 8gb. I am going to buy an Asus ROG Strix b360-F if i end up buying the i7-9700k and an RTX 2060 or 2070 as well. I got 2133 MHz 2x8 gb ram and 550W PSU (Corsair VS550)
Ram is also on the low size "quality wise" same with the PSU.
I think you should just get a 2700 (k if you want to overclock) and then a 2060 or 2070
When buying budget or mid range, AMD is a better buy.
My other advice would be posting it in this thread.

Of course most PC will be used to play many different games.
Oh right, nvm me it's a coffee lake. Then it depends what you want to use the CPU for, if you just want the most out of your CPU for gaming and overclocking go with the I7. (If budget isn't an issue) If you want a cheaper option while still very capable go with Ryzen, today if you want pure gaming intel is your buddy if you are a youtuber or streamer(Or limited in budget) then AMD is your buddy.
