Can't get gold when suing peace
Is it changed in new patch that we can't get gold when demanding peace and annexing or making a tributary?

Part of the reason is that the AI economy is broken

Click around in diplomacy and you will see that most AI have thousands of gold

For AI good maybe, but for country you are playing not do good if you seek for tributaries and gold

This does seem like an area of potential improvement for the game. Why indemnities are not allowed during peace deals, and you're not allowed to seize treasuries during occupations, makes no sense. Indemnities and payoffs happened ALL DAY EVERY DAY in this period.

You used to be able to. But because the economy is utterly broken and AI nations sit on huge piles of gold by mid-game, it became to trivially easy to farm them for gold. So in true Paradox fashion, rather then fix the underlying issue (the busted economic system), they just instead took the lazy way out and made it impossible to do something that was literally part of every war in this time period.
