Cannot change province governor because it is my capital?
Playing as Rome, Rome is my capital, want to give the governorship of Arimium to someone else but the game is saying that that is my capital province too? it's controlled by my ruler but want to change it

This game should really have an FAQ. I asked the question myself a day or two ago.

Governors are assigned to regions, not individual provinces. Your main leader is automatically governor of your capital region and cannot be changed.

For comparison, in my current British game, I didn't need a new governor until I took land in Scotland. My main leader was perfectly happy to control the whole of England and Wales herself. In Italy you'll probably need a new governor when you expand south into Magna Graecia. A status icon will appear when a new governor is needed. Until then, don't worry about governors.

hmm interesting, would be good to have individual provinces changed as being able to hand out provinces would go a long way in keeping people happy it seems!

Also not sure if this is a bug but I noticed one of my characters has holdings in uncolonised land, is that normal?
