Mad Annoying.
[edit]
And it still gets stuck after about 5 mins!
yesterday after a while of freezing every 5-10 min i switched to borderless windows and was able to play for hours without freezing.
today i pickup the same save , still on borderless and it freezes up every 5 min again randomly when i open a window or progress time.
i have a brand new pc with 32gb ram, 9900k and a rtx2080 ti , so i feel i should be good there.
no problems with stuttering but the freezes are anoying as hell.
judging the logs i get (i'm no expert at all) it does seem to be gpu or direct x related
most of the time after a freeze the errorlog says:
[gfx_dx11_swapchain.cpp:215]: D3D error (D:\jenkins\workspace\Sulla-Live-R-Steam-Windows\clausewitz\pdx_gfx2\DX11\gfx_dx11_swapchain.cpp:215): hr returned: Het GPU-apparaatexemplaar is onderbroken. Gebruik GetDeviceRemovedReason om de juiste actie te bepalen.
edit: i also tried the .2 beta but same problem with the save

the freezes are always created when an army slides over the map, in this case one of my allies, wanted to go from numidia to spain across the mediterranean, is probably a bug of the map. that there are points where the AI thinks it could take a shortcut, which in turn leads to the freezes
