Suggestions for transfering and possibly BUYING slaves
I have a suggestion which might help alleviate the problem of clicking a thousand times to transfer slaves from your capital (and maybe pops in general) and spending your important civil power.

When you occupy a city, the slaves should be sent to the capital of the state where you captured them (if you own the capital of the state) or any other province which serves as your current capital in a state. For example, I was playing as Athens, trying to conquer the state of Lakonia. I had already owned the city of Sparta (province capital) , thus the slaves should be sent to Sparta, not Athens.

If I did not own the state capital of Lakonia (Sparta), but I owned only one province from the state of Lakonia , say Korinthos, then the slaves should be sent to Korinthos.

Then again, if I had Korinthos and other provinces from Lakonia, the slaves should be sent to the current capital of the state.

This way if I wanted to go for a surplus of a trade good in Lakonia, it would reduce the CP needed to transfer them from Athens back to a province of Lakonia.

In a situation where you do not own any provinces at all of the state where you captured the slaves , then they should be sent to the capital of the bordering state nearest to the capital. Again as Athens, capturing a slave in Pella ( state of Macedonia) should them to capital of Thessaly (Larissa I think) if I do not own any other provinces in Macedonia.

This method also helps with the culture management of the captured slaves, because they will generally be transferred to provinces of the same culture and religion.

You might argue that sometimes you just want to send slaves to your capital from the other end of the world and I will certainly agree, but considering that you will transfer all of your slaves in your Capital State at the beginning of the game (as you should most of the times), I think it 's a pretty logical way of improving this system.

And on to the other point which completely caught me by surprise when the game launched. WHY CAN' T WE BUY SLAVES ? We can transfer them to other nations but we cannot buy any! Slave purchasing, as cruel as it sounds, was something natural in the classical period ( and not only in this period) .There should be an option of importing or buying slaves from another nation, keeping of course all the necessary prerequisites of having good relations with your seller and having to pay a good amount of money.

Sorry if this has been too much, I just think that the slave and other pop management mechanic suffers a lot .

+1, it's slaves after all and you should have the option to buy them.

No slave trading option in trade menu, no ability to buy slave pops.
Paradox is SJW as always.

Yes basing the economy on warfare and slavery is such a progressive move on paradoxes part.
At least go back the women as leaders where you might actually have a lick of sense to your argument.

They might add it in future patches.

Go to the forums and suggest it there.

Barely says anything? THe description about looting a city is literally "NOONE WILL HIDE FROM ME" and the further description is "X AND Y POP IS DEAD LOL"

In any case I wouldn't mind the option and since a similar feature appeared in Stellaris I don't think it is beyond the realm of possibility.

I assume in future updates (and dlc) we'll get the option to purchase/sell pop units

there is a mod for buying and selling slaves which looks like it may work

I'm definitely sure that's not a SJW issue, they just forgot to add that possibility and maybe that will be added later.

You can do that in Stellaris so I doubt its Paradox being SJW. Will probable be in some expansion.
