Controller Support

Yeah... my daughter was quickly disappointed when she found out she couldn't play with the/a controller.

Yeah, These type of games would feel better with a controller tbh.

Got the game thinking it was supported.. even the icons in game says it is.. my friend plays an i was watching him stream.. so im confused on why its not there?

just got this game, the first time I ran it, the xbox 360 controller worked perfectly fine, second time I ran it, it prompted me to run an update, which I did, now I cant get the controller working correctly. I seem to remember a controller option in the games menu, but that's disappeared now, after update, the ironic thing is the update, is supposed to improve controller compatibility,

For controllers go to steam big picture. Make sure controller support is activated in settings (Choose either Xbox or PS4 support). Then go to controller support settings in steam big picture at the Secret Neighbor launch page. Go to community section and pick a controller config. Launch game.

Not as good as the developer going the extra mile but it works.

hello! I suppose I have the same problem since two day ago. First, when I start to walk the character run back to front; second, the right handle of my controller don't work and I can't change the view! Please tell us a solution because the game is unusable.

I just uploaded a config that should work. "Secret Neighbor Xbox One" but as the description will state, it doesn't work like a normal controller in the menus but IN game it should work fine. I never played this game with a controller so idk if all the buttons are correct but the left and right sticks work and do not throw your camera around when moving.
