Black screen
I just bought this game, and tried to play it. Everytime I start the game I see the Until You Fall logo for a moment and then the game turns black. At first I thought maybe my Pimax is not compatible, so I pulled out my HTC Vive pro and same thing. Now I tried to play it using my Quest 2 via Link and VD and nothing seems to work. Anyone know how to fix this?

Having the same issue. Opting into "black screen beta" did not fix it. :estusempty:

Quest 2 via link and VD.

Emailed customer service but no reply or acknowledgement of receipt. I'm not gonna launch the game again because I want to keep within the refund window if this is broken beyond their repair. Shame.

I got 93 minutes in and I'm mired in the Black Screen of Error Text. Gonna try support.

Anyone tried the viveport download to see if it works?

I built a new pc and now it runs smoothly without any trouble. On my old PC it wouldn't start. Now that is a fix that I cannot recommend.

The game itself is quiet fun and i think its a great game to introduce friends to VR. I hope someone can find a fix that doesnt require a new system or they patch it to make it work somehow.

I too am mired in the black screen. I'll play for 5-10 minutes, get blacked, then restart my gen 1 vive with wireless and then I'm stuck looking down into the menu and I can't select anything. If I close the game and reopen it I get the logo, the vive room, then the black lock screen. If I reset Steam VR it launches, until I get the black screen 10 minutes later.

This game played fine yesterday. All other games play fine today. Only Until you fall is having this issue.

SOLVED (Maybe)

Do not think its the game anymore. It just happened to only happen in the game when I was playing. The controllers would auto shutoff at 30min. and I've been playing your game a lot around that mark.

However your game is the only one that a reboot of the headset if I loose tracking (Vive wireless issues), that I'll have to restart the game because it doesn't recognize the headset has become active again.

Not solved. This is the only game that does this for me. Black screen beta doesn't work. I got this to launch ONE TIME successfully and have not been able to duplicate it. I should have refunded when I had the chance. Maybe that's why the devs waited 3 days to reply to my email? :stress:
