That's not necessarily true, roguelikes work really well with multiplayer. Games like Risk of Rain play really well with co-op and I think Until You Fall multiplayer would be great.
Thank you for the feedback. We're thrilled to see so many Champions wanting to rid Rokar of these monstrosities with their friends!
Right now, the team is dedicated to making Until You Fall the best single-player experience it can possibly be. We plan to make Until You Fall a 'living game,' with opportunities like more weapons, enemies, campaigns, and lore. It is likely we'll continue to concentrate on those elements first, before taking on the possibility of multiplayer gameplay.
With that said, we do have a Discord server where Champions can come together to chat about the game (or other things, too!). While it's not playing the game directly with others, many players work together to share helpful battle tips or compete against one another in monthly challenges. I'd highly recommend checking it out.
