Button layout bug?
Hi
Just got the game today and I was loving it but then following happened.

I was at second boss fight when I suddenly hit my bookshelf with my knuckles and oculus somehow closed causing game to close and steam to lose track of headset etc.

After I restarted it let me continue from same point but my grip and trigger was swapped and movement was turned to press thumb stick to direction you want to go instead of pushing.

I am running default oculus rift touch controller setup and no other games where affected and it is annoying as I can't dash smoothly, or turn or move....also movement stops responding when I do first block and I have to press the thumb stick again to continue movement.

Starting new game didn't help or re installing so if anyone knows why button layout changed and how to change it back it would be super as I could continue enjoying the game.

Does anyone have any tips on fixing the controls, its odd playing this on Rift with the buttons mapped out all weird now. My triggers draw the weapons and my grip buttons use the weapon powers...Also I have to click the thumb sticks to move now.

That's why I made this discussion as I have not found any fixes and all other games are just fine. You can change button mapping on oculus controller layout menu but that changes it on all and is a really big hassle.

Sorry for the inconvenience, folks! I can definitely understand how frustrating it is to have buttons mapped incorrectly. Could you try these steps to see if they fix the bug you're experiencing?

1. Close Steam and SteamVR, then reopen Steam.
2. Launch Until You Fall from your Steam library (on desktop, not inside your headset).
3. Select "Oculus Mode" when the game launches.

Let me know if this helps or not so we can continue investigating!

They are working on FULL index and Knuckle support by October. Early Access has it's kinks.

A developer of this app has indicated that this post answers the original topic.
