But I can't get into VR, it seems too gimmicky? too much of a fad?

I'm not sure VR is the future of PC gaming.
It is a neat fad, but so were pogs...

Vr is something either you like or you dont. Many people just dont want to invest $1200+ into it. The more affordable ones are coming out and millions of people now have VR so im not sure its a fad as much as something that will continue to grow. Once the new higher res sets and lower prices hit the market more and more people will buy it. I have shown my oculus to most my friends and many of them now have VR its really a cool thing if you can afford the cost of the setup and the games.(also if you have a 10x10 or 12x12 room you can dedicate to VR its truelly makes it a million times better)

The tech isn't the problem, it's all these 1 hour games imo. Not trying to diss you DEV, there are lots and lots of vr games like this for some reason. I have no idea what goes into making these vr games but besides fallout and skyrim i klnow of nothing that will last more than 10 hours.
