Shield damage build question

Any recommendations on what is optimal for a halo shield build? Mainly I'm just wondering if I should get focused AND radiant or neither? I went sentinel and I think I have a pretty solid grasp on what to aim for but I never have figured out if it was counter productive at all to get all of the shield buffs or not.

I don't understand what your idea of optimal is, but you should be able to reach at least wave 400 using Sanctuary + Hidden power. The core of your build would be the four burn upgrades for damage and sustain, Deflagration if that's to your taste, and some stacks of Solar heart to really skyrocket the damage output.

I tried to do the full package, but did not get one Solar heart for the entire game. All in all, a very fun and effective weaponless build. This was the end result:

blade (this spinning projectile/construct) also can take your shield. you can basically launch it at people. you can pair it with AMP shield and volatile shields for blow and quick recharge or you can use something like syphon to allow it do more damage before breaking
and of course you go engineer instead of sentinel

The actual shield you go with is BASTION because Bastion is the Bast-est shield!

Its not even as much of a meme as it might seem, throw on Tempest Break with Priority Zero(Support Specialist optional) and its one of if not THE lowest CD shield in the game as its the only one that can literally reach a ~0 second CD as long as you kill enough stuff for Priority Zero. Blow up a snake enemy and you might not even notice that the Bastion is already back if you blink.

Its also decent with Self Destruction on top of all the other BOOM mods like Tempest and Volatile.
