What version of GameMaker is the current build using? Have you attempted to run the game from your IDE with WaveLink installed to get a stack trace/exception information?
I'm reporting this issue to both Elgato and GameMaker. It'd be great to have more information to provide to them assuming someone will try to fix it from either company.
It's going to be pretty upsetting if everyone involved (you included) just tries to pass the blame onto the others and I end up either not using the hardware I paid for or not using the game I paid for.
Someone commented on it shortly after posting and pointed another, older report that was "not planned" where the issue was discovered. The devs behind GM didn't have the hardware, so the software doesn't work, awesome... They asked for a crash dump and never got one, I guess. I don't think players can get that. I don't have the folder location they mention to look in at least.
