How to unlock 'Tis But A Scratch?

This is my last achievement and I have no idea how it works. Are the wings and all counted as well? And Warbringer often dies before I can destroy the smaller parts close to its body.

Finally got the achievement by using railgun with temporal shield, and carefully stripping away the parts without killing it. The wings do count. The only part that is not required is that little nose in front of the main ship.
