So i commented here a few years ago about the poor controls this game has and nothing really came of it but recently i found a much better version of this game.

It has proper twin stick controls and you get to keep your upgrades after death as well. It's only $3 so go show the devs some love ^_^

Huh? I AM playing it. That's how i know it's better and why I'm here to let people here know about it, so they can enjoy it too.

Don't know why you feel "pestered" but I'm just here to spread the word. Perhaps you feel threatened? Might want to ask yourself why that is. Perhaps your not enjoying Nova Drift as much as you want people to believe you are?

no, the controls are not gonna change, no you will not keep upgrades in this game because thats how the dev decided to do.
them you use Nova Drift community to advertise for another game and say this community should share the love for that game, without giving this game any sort of love.
I am not here in this community to hear about other games, and there probably is a thread somewhere where people ask for game similar to Nova Drift, so throw that ♥♥♥♥ in there instead.

yes, I have issues with this game, there are aspects I am not a particularly big fan of, but that is how the game is made, but its not enough to stop me from enjoying the game because if it was I would not be playing it.

Lol. looks like i hit a nerve. Sorry but your not the arbiter of what people can do, like of dislike.

A: It's a public forum. If people want to talk about other games, they can.

B: You're not the judge of whats good or not. People are free to like or dislike what they want.

C: I didn't complain (recently). I just posted about a game that addresses the complaints people have with this game. If people chose to go play Nebulock then that's their choice.

The real gall is attacking someone else's passion/enjoyment just because it doesn't align with what you like. If you're really not here to hear about other games then why did you click on, respond to and clown this post?
Stop backseat moderating and let people enjoy what they enjoy.

I wrote a response because the culture in here is horrid and I hope that people takes the hint, but I see no hope for that, so in a way you are right, there was no reason for me to start this debate and, by extension, have no reason to continue participating in it.

Ok, i didn't mention anything about geopolitics so not sure where that came from. And according to your complaints about the "horrid" culture here, there are plenty of people looking for something like Nebulock so I'm not sure what point your trying to make.

I understand that the devs want to make something different and i have no problem with that but there are clearly people here looking for something else. I'm not attacking the devs or pissing on anyone, simply providing the "horrid" people with a better alternative. If you really dislike the culture here then, if anything, this should help. Not sure why you have a problem with that.

From the description, the game isn't a roguelite and it's a twin stick shooter. It can't be Nova Drift but better, because the two games have little in common to begin with.
Looking at the game itself, it seems to be heavily inspired by Chippy. Perhaps a bit too inspired for comfort, considering just how similar things like the bullet sprites look even down to the colors, but at least it has the upgrade tree going for it.

I mean, their both twin stick space shooters with upgrades and progression. The only real difference is Nova Drift is a bit more aesthetically stylized and the progression/upgrades are lost when you die (and the poor controls). But i am interested in this chippy game. Do you have a link?

Damn, i see what you mean about the comparison. I would actually say Chippy is more stylized than Nebulock too. It even has co-op apparently. Looks like a cool game, thanks for the recommendation ^_^
