Gonna play this on the steam deck

I can play ND *on my phone* already, ya now, via Steam Remote Play and a decent controller; I use the Moga XP5a (https://www.powera.com/product/moga-xp5-a-plus-bluetooth-controller/), which works with PCs also. This lets me use my gaming laptop's superior hardware, instead of the impressive but (of course) somewhat limited Steam Deck's CPU/graphic power.

So, I guess it's, "Welcome to the master race, that was already here long ago" ?

No shade on the Stream Deck, except for the pretty bad name, but really, why shell out the extra cash, *IF* you have a good enough LAN and/or internet connection (if playing outside the home) and already own a beefy PC? Of course, just as with the Steam Deck, quite a few games simply don't play very well with a controller, instead of keyboard/mouse ^^' ,

Hey out of curiosity, did it launch in Large Text Mode (the setting in options)? It's meant to do that by default but I'm not sure its functioning. Thanks.

For folks who are playing this on the Steam Deck, did you change any controls or settings?

I tried this yesterday and it was wonky as heck. I couldn't aim or move around smoothly at all.

Plays fine on the Deck for me. Granted, I was using a controller before, and I use directional control. Everything works exactly on the Deck as on Desktop.

I've always used mouse and keyboard on PC, so I can't compare to a controller, but it certainly feels like more than just getting used to playing with a controller on the Steam Deck.

Thanks for letting me know, I'll try again and play with the settings a bit.

It’s a bit strange: from the ui the large text mode is not selected, but the font are the “large” one. If i select “large text mode” nothing happens, if i deselect the font becomes small. It seems that the engine recognizes the steam deck but the ui is not able to do it
