Will this game ever leave early access?

ND has been following it's planned arc so far, I don't see why not.

Is there a reason to think it won't? Also, what's the actual difference? I never understood people who worry about games leaving early access. Leaving early access does nothing. Ideally it would mean the game is now bug free and balanced, but that clearly isn't how things work. Most of the time it's just a way for the devs to say "I'm done updating my game so I will jack the price up and milk every last penny I can get".

I wouldn't mind more frequent updates but I understand its just a few guys, totally understandable.

Chimeric gets a bit monomaniacal as it is, improving the game, like most good coders; I don't think he really owes much more than he gives ^^' .

I don't follow the discord at all so I am very in the dark. I didn't mean to be insulting in anyway just curious if there is an end goal to the game. I am aware only 1 dev works on it and I believe they had a child within the last 6 months so it is understandable why the updates are so infrequent.
I just know there are plenty of games that enter early access with the promise of something more then get scrapped. I quite enjoy Nova Drift and definitely got my moneys worth. Just wondering if there was a point where the dev considers the game done in their eyes.

So far, ND has stayed pretty much on track, give or take. At least in my experience, each iteration of ND has *also* been good enough, that I would be fine with it as the end product...if i didn't know what's planned =) .

I think you should join the discord server since its where the dev is active. Also the dev recently just give some news about the next update
