I feel like Bastion and Hidden Power were designed with each other in mind. Which also pairs well with Apotheosis.
But Bastion needs to scale better with Shield Size or something, perhaps splitting into multiple shields like you said, if you invest enough. Right now it seems like a wonky way to maybe get a fast shield cooldown, if you're already investing in Constructs. Or perhaps as a Shield Damage Effect trigger. If you could have multiple, each with their own cooldown it would make the drawback become worth the effort of using it.
Anyone know how it interacts with Gemini Protocol, by the way? On paper it seems like it could work with a Shielded Drones, Galvanic Outburst type of setup.
Edit: Shame it counts as a Construct for Architect, even with Shielded Constructs. I guess the only use is to take advantage of stuff like Tactical Link or Medicharge.
Defensive drones could also use a movement buff. Even without massive personal speeds, it's possible to move outside their protective ring. :\
That said, both of those wild mods pretty much go with any build.
Probably would be better with Sentinel/ Siphon but most Shield builds are. Oh, and some Galvanic Outburst ofcourse.
It kills things for you, it has a huge area of effect, it DOESN'T take damage while doing this unlike the halo shield, and it charges itself in the process.
I feel like architect does exactly the opposite of what it should do.
I know engineer somewhat fills the opposite role, but... one construct?
Why would I ever want one construct only?
