New Viper
Hi everybody! I love the new Viper so far. I use it with a full on ram everything build. It works quite well, however you are really a glass canon. Ram the enemy once without looking at your health and BOOM you explode. Any tipps on how to to a good "Ram" build. I obviously take all the hull repair/regenration upgrades, but stil i feel its not healing fast enough to be competetive against a full on construct build or a typical weapon build.

Viper is very much a half crash (off crash?) ship. It works better if you develop some type of weapon as well as picking those ramming mods and defense mods. You want your hull to be taking hits (build your defense around either Gemini Protocol or Rapid Reconstruction) so you always get to counter-attack on any incoming damage.

In that same vein, I find that Skirmish works very well with it (the two after skirmish are alright, and Essence Drain was an abject failure when I tried it)

I'm going a little off topic here, but Essence Sap is often very good. It depends what it's working with. You can take Regenerative Shields with it and get both lifesteal and passive shield regen going at the same time, which is awesome for a Gemini Protocol build. And if you're doing that, you can safely grab Adrenal Module, which is a fantastic +damage mod.

Interesting. I will try it out in combination with a weapon build. Lets see how far that gets me...

Tried out building a viper with a crash damage + missile loadout. Worked better then a pure crash damage load out. I will try again.
