I have found a solution to the "Game Loading Bug" that is plaguing steam users and myself. I would launch the game and it will open, but it gets stuck on the Game Loading screen and doesn't progress to anything else

As others have said. Don't tell me to clear the cache. I've never actually played it. I downloaded it, and it just doesn't load. It sat at 30% loaded for an hour while I went to walk the dog. Came back, still at 30%. Game is broken.
