Looking for the bathroom with an eerie atmosphere

Title, it's the last thing I need to complete a specific side quest

Spoilers ahead.

Head to the Spirit Oval bathroom and take the same hidden path that leads to the locked stall. There should be another path to the right leading to the secret room with the Echoed Mirror.

Can either of you help with a question I have about that room? I found that room but when I interact with the mirror all it does is send me spinning to the other side of the room. Am I missing something?

There's something you'll need to get way later in the game for that mirror to do anything useful for you

I've already beaten the final boss. I'm just running around finishing up the side quests and I'm totally stuck on this one. All I have left is one rare gem that I missed somewhere and the final gem for the chest in the gem witch's store. So I can open all the cat doors. I'm assuming I get that from this mirror. The kid in the northern dorm tells us to speak to Gwennora but I already got rid of her from the library and can't find her anywhere else. If you have any hints please, I'd be very grateful. I'm no longer worried about spoilers at this point since I've essentially completed the game.

You need the Echo Heart that you get from the Codexus fight which is in the library basement to use the mirror, which gives the Mended heart, and I'm not sure what that's for, probably has to do with the Allcat, but it doesn't open the cat doors.

Oh, your problem is you didn't do Gwenora's picture hunt then? She's at the entrance of the cemetery.

Just to correct something that threw me for a loop here. The Echo Heart is the reward for all Gwenora's pictures, not from the Codexus FIght.
