Some reviews of the original stated the same problem - combat was wonky and unsatisfying with both player character and enemies not giving feedback on getting hit apart from their HP reducing and maybe a color flash. I'm not expecting brand new animations, as a matter of fact I can appreciate tweening animation style, since I love Super Robot Wars and Vanillaware games, but will at least combat feedback be improved?...
