Anyone know the launch option for forced windowed?

Edit: Neeevermind. Just the usual derp of user not updating their graphics drivers.

I am running a 16:10 monitor and the game crashes on startup. A lot of games do that since they try to force a 16:9 resolution and it doesn't work. I tend to get around it by forcing the game to open on windowed before I set proper graphics settings or manually edit the settings ini file. Does anyone know the launch option for forcing windowed? I have tried:
-windowed
-windowed 640x480
-window 640x480
(I should probably try -window as well)

The location of the settings ini file would be appreciated as well? PCGamingWiki doesn't have the location of the settings file.

This is of course, assuming the crash is related to mismatching resolution since a lot of games default to 16:9 aspect ratio. Even then usually it just puts my monitor out of range and I simply have to crash the program myself before fixing the resolution by hand. I do not know if this will fix my crashing problem and I doubt it will, I just want to rule it out.

You should be able to find the config file as follows:
C:\Users\USERNAME\AppData\Local\touhou_luna_nights

In the file, you can adjust the windoww setting as follows:
0 = 640 x 360 (original)
1 = 960 x 540 (x1.5)
2 = 1280 x 720 (x2)
3 = Full Screen

Hmm, I don't seem to have a luna nights folder in Local. I am guessing since the game never gets through first launch, it doesn't create the folder to store settings in.

Odd, I also have a 16:10 monitor (1680x1050) and fullscreen work just fine for me (got some small black bands on top and bottom, but that's it).

Weird. I suppose it is something else then. Maybe a missing dependency or something.

It turns out, the advice you gave on the Bug Report helped. It was just a case of outdated graphics drivers. I missed an update it seems. Thank you and sorry for taking your time.

Well, that config file location is useful since i couldn't find it, and i still can't change the game's window size at the launch screen nor is such an option available in the settings despite mentioning this in beta. There's still no way to make the launch screen do anything but launch the game for me despite dozens of attempts, but with the config file i can change it.

Yeah. Knowing where the config files are always good when you hit the "I guess it is time to tinker by hand" route.
