Turn off time limit?
Is there a way to turn off the time limit? My wife and I enjoy co-op games, but neither of us do well when there's essentially a clock ticking down. It's an added element of pressure and stress that we really don't enjoy when it comes to our recreational time.

I know real escape rooms have time limits (my family and I did one last summer), but that's partly due to limited space and needing the room available for other people. In a video game, there's no such limitation.

I'm sure at least one person will respond to this post with something like "time limits are part of the fun!" or "I think the time limit gives you more than enough time."

Well... I don't mean to be rude, but I'm not asking for your opinion. I'm not discussing the merits of time limits nor am I looking for someone to convince me of anything.

All I'd like to know is if there's a way to turn off the time limit and if there isn't, could that be added as an option?

Thanks.

Hello,

We will look into adding that as an option, we understand that not everyone likes time limits and it's not like you can't just restart the game and have more time to solve the puzzles.

Thank you,

I'd like that as well, a nice puzzle game, not a race suits me too.

I've been looking for a game to play with a friend however neither of us I like playing with a timer ticking down. If you provide the option to turn it off we will buy the game but until then it's a no from both of us.

Has any progress happened on the option to switch off the time limit?

I would also like the option to turn off the time limit.
Even though the current time limit is not really enforced,
I notice that it "stresses" my game experience
and makes me not want to continue solving the game now.

It is a pity that this proposal was never implemented. :ulfen:

Having the timer transforms the game from a nice, relaxing puzzle game, into a race against the clock. You can't look around at everything if you're in a race.

The timer turns a relaxing game into a super stressful game .

It's a shame because some of the puzzles are really quite clever, but if you haven't got time to think about them, what's the point?
