Modding support
Please tell me this have modding support, there is a reason EM4 is still popular and did have at one point a large community (still now modest).

Later entries in the series didn't have massive success because modding was hard or at least modders didn't want to.

Big modding community = more people playing = more recommendations = more money.

It does not. If you look at other discussion the devs confirmed it

The LA Mod was the Best. I have not bought this series since!

I think the EM4 devs don't know that their community is based around modifications. If they gave Modding support, they would be racking in thousands of dollars.

Play this for em4/em20.

It surpasses even all the EM4 mods.

Limited water supplies, different tiers of medical treatment, issuing tasks to vehicle crews by just selecting the vehicle then scheduling jobs etc, limited air suppliers and oxygen logistics. . .

Mod support is actually detrimental to franchise games in the long run, this is why many AAA developers on a release cycle make it difficult to modify their game structure. Sure there are some people who reverse engineer or break the EULA to add support, but these methods are shaky at best. For instance it is actually possible to mod Emergency 20XX, however you need a copy of the game engine to do so.

Mod support takes money away from free to play aspects of the game. For instance if the game has skins in a market place for your vehicles, why would you pay 5 euro when you could just make or download something else.

Everything that has come out publicly about what to expect is an ENORMOUS red flag that should tell you that this is nothing but another revenue generation scheme. 16T now is not the same 16T from the 00s. This is not a game that respects where it came from. This is not a game that respects the 20+ years of community support. This is instead a giant turd dropped on its legacy.

The days of modding video games are mostly gone. These greedy companies would rather milk and dime of for skin packs for a gun, emblem, player anthem, or vehicle.

This game will be profitable for a short while, then it'll be dead in 2-3 years, because PC players have other options, and will move on to the next similar game.
