They waste their money on buying Macs which die within the year they bought them
Well my late 2013 MacBook Pro laughs at your uninformed assumptions. Now apologize while I fire up Civilization VI.

It is great to see Eve Online coming available for more platforms and I personally hope Linux would be the next. Hopefully in future they would use open standards like Vulkan (MoltenVK).
Mac OS doesn't make any sense all it's going to do is slow Eve's progress down even more is Mac are inferior Hardware
a modern Mac is 8 years behind the PC always
and also cost four times as much as an average PC and its speed is worse than an average PC

You literally have no idea what you're talking about.
This comment section is unhinged
Yeah, increasing the potential number of players by about 5% is definitely going to solve the problems making this game's playerbase dwindle... what a joke.

Every time I get an EVE ad on Youtube, I just chuckle. No, CCP, I'm not coming back to your cesspool of a game, nor is almost anyone in my old corp of around 20 members. For the record, one person in that corp probably had more paid (not PLEXed) accounts than the rest of us put together. They all got offlined permanently a couple years ago save maybe one.

Playerbase is not dwindling. Nice meme.

Why?! Windows and Mac need to ferkin die, fer ferks sake. You enjoy cökken ball torture or someting? What's wrong with you.

Setzen, Sechs! I expect a new newspost tomorrow: EvE drops Windows and Mac support in grand gesture to liberate users!

Now that would be something. -spits in the floor-
u a linux fanboy?
Mac ok np as long as there are enough players to support it and not waste development money on it.
I would come back more and play if you would fix the PVP arenas to be more like WOT or Warthunder without ship loss I just became tired of all the ganking and trolling in EVE PVP plus all the exploiting. Plus you have so many corp fleet mining bots its stupid you cant even mine in low sec anymore.

The whole point of EVE is that all destruction has meaning. If you don't put anything on the line, then you can't get rewarded. Without ship destruction, players would try to game the arena system (e.g. alt-killing, sync-dropping) in order to maximize their rewards. Heck, they already try to do this, but at least right now, there's still the possibility that it won't work, and they end up dropping against strangers that will kill them. So without the risk of loss, the arena would be a meaningless feature that doesn't result in any tangible benefits. It would hardly be an upgrade to the system.

What about GNU/Linux client? Yes, we have WINE DXVK and can run any DirectX 11/12 games wich doesn't uses Battleye or EAC anticheat, but native client is always welcomed. I remembered one of your developer's made port of EVE launcher based on WINE, but it so old.
How news about native mac client became a discussion about Linux because macs are for cat memes and vlogging about rainbow flags, Linux is for true hacker cracker capsuleers.
ШО??
ОПЯТЬ???
