Will the conquered systems be deleted or something? What might happen to them?

@ferriematth: It is assumed the gates in those systems will get shut down, so you can only get to them via other means (maybe a new type of wormhole?). The details of this new phase aren't made public, so we'll have to wait and see :)

So that means that trade routes will be changed permanently, as will local routes between systems in affected regions.

What about the creepy music in systems like Reisen that've been invaded? Will that go back to normal?

This whole thing has been very, very heavy handed. The entire rest of the game allows players to choose their own way to play (i.e. some pvp, pve, mine, industry...but you are not forced to). This invasion has been railroaded through players trying to play the game. That last section of the announcement today on the zeinth reads like...'hey we are going to take everything from you that you set up for years...have a t-shirt'.

This. And as a returning player I feel VERY left behind. I have no idea how to progress for either side, what happens if I choose Triglavian, does that mean I'm locked out of highsec, and the mountains of skills that need to be trained that will take weeks or even months

Honestly this is a slap in the face to faction warfare. People have been toiling for YEARS on and off for FW and never seen any permanent topography change to the map, even when one side completely clears the warzone. At minimum, this needs to come with ship bpcs scaled at higher levels for the 'rewards' to be worthwhile at all at the higher levels. Frig bpcs at +5 standing, cruiser bpcs at +7 standing, and battleship bpcs at +9.

How does one go about allying with the trigs? do you just go and blast some EDENCOM ships or is it more complex than that?
