this game is so messed up... the only thing you could do after all these years of failed concepts, investment and patches would be to open source the client and server-source, maybe from a state - let's say from 4 or 5 years ago, and let people do something with it. You certainly have not the ability to do it.

They should make it so tier 1 battleships only drop tier 1 frigates... pirate battleships only drop pirate frigates... tech 2 can drop tech 2 frigates etc...

I'd guess not, although options would be more limited. Could be interesting with Logi or EW popping out as BS get killed.

it's useless, so probably will be given to alphas
now, not only will you lose an expensive heavy ship, you can also lose a slightly less expensive frigate (since you are losing the fight anyway)

100% agree. It will i think begin to shake up the highsec ganking that goes on. Imagine if a freighter had this? I can imagine, and see how it might be a bit less risky, maybe they just lose their freighter and not their pod. Who knows, only time. But, another task. Why do we do away with i don't know being inside the ship and having some quarters. Imagine being able to talk around Jita? VR would make it super fun.

Hell if they really wanted to. Imagine a game like Albion online, and having that when your docked. would that not be awesome. Now, just to figure out how to upgrade that command center to level over 9000. Hmm...

This was already in the game. Walking in stations (and then ships) was planned and Captains Quarters was already implemented. They threw money and development time of a complete year into this and then deleted it again recently.
Just as they threw subscriber-money and time into Dust and Valkyre and other ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥-concepts and never followed through. Whoever runs this company doesn't deserve this. I was subscribed for >7 years without pause and have cancelled my sub yesterday. Unbelievable what they have done with my precious EVE.
