Problem with Installation

So I installed the basic client from Steam to install the game. Client asks for drive, select C. It says not enough space. Fine, I'll switch do D, except there is NO option to switch to D at all. Even the client says to go to Settings -> EVE online and Verify game files or change drives, but there is NEITHER a "Verify game files" option nor any way to change drives either. What gives? I change the CCP folder location but then it only bugs out and says it can't find it. What am I supposed to do here? Unsintalling and reinsatlling from steam does absolutely nothing.

Maybe you need to add a new 'D drive' directory for steam via. its settings window...settings>storage.

I can't do anything through steam because the issue is with the launcher itself. Steam blocks me from verifying files because it is handled by a third party launcher (the EVE launcher), but the EVE launcher lacks all of the options it itself says it has, but it doesn't have them at all.
