demo = 14 day trial?

hey so is the demo the 14 day trial

yup. when you download demo you get 14 day trial key. use 21 day referal trial invite from someone instead if u want ;)

Cheers if i use someones referal trial can i still play the steam version for it?

yup, it's the same as downloaded from eve webpage. it just downloads the launcher there you login into your eve account. you can play that " demo " version and have full account if you buy gametime in any other method other than steam (account upgrade via paying on eve webpage, using ingame Pilot license extender, any other eve official reseller etc).
