any games similar to eve but single player?

i dont really like mmos so i was just looking for anything similar ive already got astrox imperium since a lot of people compared them a long time ago to me

you might like this, it's old and on rails and not open world but its a fun game with combat simillar to eve

This and it has a freespace 2 mod which makes it even more awesome.

Astrox Imperium is probably the most that feels like Eve with the trading, stations, ship fitting, combat, mining and crafting. It even has some of the exploring thrown in there. Some other games I have played that scratch the Eve itch are Star Valor, Avorion, Drifter, Starpoint Gemini 2. The X series games with their super detailed station building are great in and of themselves, but have never felt like Eve, they are their own beast.

I hate the combat in Star Sector - too tedious and the fatigue etc is a stupid mechanic. Does the mod you used alter that at all?

not really you can change them in the xml file if you go through the effort or you can change the price of supplies or something, and for the flying of the spaceship you can press u for autopilot,
thats what i do i just autopilot and watch

Astrox Imperium has already been mentioned multiple times, but yeah, it's really the only legitimate single player Eve like RPG. There is really nothing like Eve Online for better or worse, it is a very unique RPG in many ways that no one else has tried to replicate.
