Welcome to EVE Online!
Because this is your first time logging in through Steam, please enter your email address so that we can activate your EVE Online account.
HOWEVER I get this issue now:
No user data found. Please make sure cookies are enabled in your browser and try again
EDIT 3: Alright it works now. :DDDDDDD I just had to clear the cache
tried the website and steam launch.
No. Neither CCP or Valve/Steam support messaged me. I just went to check the game once more and out of the blue it greeted me with the welcome message
"We are looking into this issue with our sales department and hopefully we'll be able to provide some information on this soon.
The issue is simply that gifting of EVE Online does not work through Steam (due to restrictions on their end) and this was nevertheless the way they used to distribute these auctioned packs.
Essentially there is nothing we can do on our end since we can not enable gifting on Steam or provide new packs of this type. And Steam linked EVE accounts have to be generated through Steam.
But again we'll let you know as soon as we have some more information."
Steam be silly.
The game is obviously still not working.
They realy think we are idiots...
