Arghghgh why can't I see notifications for when a buy or sell order has been fullfilled???
And no, wallet transactions or journal does NOT show when a buy or sell order has been fullfilled. When I see I have a buy or sell order availble to use I'm left wondering "Geepers, what just finished buying or selling" Once I even thought "Hey the option must be under NOTIFICATION SETTINGS, I'll go there and check, nope, no category for ORDERS" Like if someone knows someone at CCCP can you let them know about this or post about it on their forum or something, I really want to know when buy or sell orders have been fullfilled and what item got fullfilled....

your ebst bet would be to put this up in the features and ideas section, CCP seems to want to change the game to cater to people's thoughts about how the game SHOULD be after their first 30 minutes touching the game anyways (this was said by a legit dev, which is why theya r eadding WASD dogfighting ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ and 1v1 arenas)

as for actually answering your question, its liekly planned, just that market is soem old ass code, and the market code was not tied into the notification systems because those were more intended for things like insurance/fuel/sov messages, if i recall your wallet gets blinky when an order is fulfilled and you can check it there.

Well right now, all you have to do when you see your wallet blink is go to the "transactions" tab to see what item was sold. Pretty easy, and I've never experienced discomfort from the issue you're personally having. However, your idea would add a small amount of usability to the game, so there's a good chance that it will get implemented at some point if it's brought up by the player base.

You don't need us to bring it up for you, because you can do it yourself. Just log into the official EVE forums, and post your idea in the proper forum subsection.

What? Where did you hear that?

CCP Veritas made a prototype thunderdome thing, but as he is now working for RIOT who knows, it was however an idea born out of the Alliance Tournament system, to allow them a more flexible arena for those type of events. I do not believe it is even on SiSi but it was deployed to duality iirc.

There's nothing wrong with a thunderdome as long as it doesn't replace current game mechanics. Replace is the key word here.

I almost forgot, for the OP's request, the functionality you want is not in the game client, but CCP does have an API system that has all the information you want. There are a ton of tools and websites out there that have focused functionality on market related problems.

Take a look at http://3rdpartyeve.net/ and check some of the tools under the Market or trading categories out. I myself am using NEAT ( pwning.de/neat/ ) and evernus (http://evernus.com/) at the moment for data on how my trades are doing. there are a lot of options. It however does require that you set up an API key (http://community.eveonline.com/support/api-key/) as input for those tools.

EVEmon also has a nifty feature where it informs you that your market orders have expired.

why go to lowsec for PvP when theres perfectly safe CCP thats 100% fair, banning links ganks fleets and anything else outside even 1v1 from happening, available via a simple warp-to beacon on the overview in jita, the system next door, the system next door to that, etc.

"Thunderdome" pvp won't replace traditional (read: non-consensual) pvp, unless the capability to conduct traditional pvp is forcefully removed from the game. The players who shun pvp today aren't going to shun it any more if thunderdomes come out, and those who do engage in it won't move over to the new thing just because it's "safer." All it does is add an additional duel mechanic, that's it. Like I said, the keyword is "replace."

Well I went to the forums to post but I don't see that is allows me I guess cause I'm on trial account. Anyway the wallet get blinky for every single little transaction, that doesn't tell me when and what orders got fullfilled...

Emton, download EVEmon. It has the feature you want (plus tons of other useful features too).

Emton, I don't know if you paid attention the first time, but I want to bring up again the fact that you can see a clear record of all of your market transactions in the "transactions" tab of your wallet interface. If you're selling 10 Tritatium at 5 ISK each, and someone buys half of your order, you'll see the transaction for 5 units in that tab, along with timestamp and other information.
Gubernaut Nov 24, 2014 @ 5:23am
What are you talking about? All I see is a list of EVERY SINGLE ITEM transaction. That doesn't tell me anything about what orders got fullfilled and when. If I finished selling Small Clarity Ward Booster I 5 hous ago then how is transactions suppossed to tell me that when there's been 200 other transactions in front of it and there's nothing to even distinguish a filled order from the active order transactions? Are you sure you're not paying attention? I want Notifications to tell me when and what Orders are FULLFILLED, real simple here...
Gubernaut Nov 24, 2014 @ 5:25am
I don't want to download any third party programs or give out my API key for stuff that should already be in the game... But also because I don't want to be flipping back to windows all the time. Could someone just tell the devs about this or are they just pretending they want to make the game more user friendly?

So your issue is that you specifically want to see when an order is completed (bought or sold down to the last unit), but can't? Unfortunately, there's no feature to let you know when an order runs dry. However, most users don't have an issue with this, as the transactions log, coupled with detailed order information in the wallet window (remaining amount/total stack size, date, etc etc), provides enough information for people to manage their orders properly. As someone who's made uncounted billions of ISK through market trading, I never experienced any frustration due to the issue you describe, but then again, different people are different.

When you're able to post, I suggest you create a thread on the topic in the appropriate section. However, it's not really our job, as players, to relay requests for other active players, nor are the developers likely to implement your request instantly, if at all, just because you make it. Either way, I hope this minor issue doesn't turn you off the game entirely, because it is minor. Good luck.

It's silly I got 21 orders up and then I come back to station I see 1 order is open so I got to play some kind of guessing game as to what item it was....
