Getting error processing requestion when launching through steam

I was having an issue where i literally couldnt exit EVE or perform any action other than undocking.. restarted EVE.. now i can login

Same for me, unfortunately my Drake was cruising into a nest of pirates at the time. I did notice that when I killed out of Eve with Task Manager, a new Steam client had been pushed to my machine. It did it's little install bit on relaunch, and then I received the same error as Matt. I certainly hope I haven't lost this ship due to an unannounced client update...

same issue, different error code. as in, very different.
I think the code might be related to your specific steam login information (which is why I cant find anything about mine or yours on the net)

Seems to coincide with the EVE API system being down right now - possible that Steam might need that to do its thing?

The Eve Online fourms went down at exactly the same time. Hopefully its a problem on CCP's end, and not Steam's. At least your ship will be safe if the CCP servers went down.

EDIT: And I see CCP's API server is down too. Points to CCP having the problem. Which is better news for us Steam users.

You guys are silly. If the servers are down, your stuff isn't getting blown up. And even if it was, you could file reimbursement petitions, since this is CCP's fault.
