Been playing since 2008, and seen many changes to this game. People like me intentionally move out of High and Low Sec due to the botting, toxicity, and swarms of thievery. EVE yet again disappointing players with their lack of insight into a holidayish event. Time to hang up another subscription for a few years, and hoping that solo, group, or eventful content can be reestablished. EVE at this point forces you on how they want you to play a game that they advertise as player driven even with supposedly fun events which are anything but fun.

And all that is your fault for not been able to find a good place to explore or rat.
I lived in amar for years and never got a site contested by other pilot. Just in events like one is happening right now because obviously everyone is at it.
i could bet you stayed near jita wich is a very contested space

I don't mind the thievery if I get ganked by players. Not 1 player with 5 accounts.

Im actually enjoying the event drifter hole sites. I can run the smaller ones with just one ship, and work with some corp mates on the bigger ones.
