So from what im understanding if my home base is jita and a sign with galente if i undock in jita i will be attacked by npc since i am in caldari space correct? also where can i find groups for fw ? thank you o7

Check your standings, if you are -5.0 with any faction or corporation, yes they will attack you. If you are in a pod i believe you can travel "safely".

If you are in Caldari space while signed on with the Gallente, you will get a message when you warp in basically telling you the cops are coming to kill you. I've never lingered long enough to see if they actually do it. However you're not going to just get blasted by station gate guns unless you tank your standing down to -5.0 which I heavy reccomend doing with the Caldari if you dont have any Alts. Last time I tried to dock with Caldari while with Gallente I just got a message saying im not allowed to but that was a while back

Now with that said. If you are still signed on with faction war and fly into Jita, its probably not going to be the NPCs you have to worry about.

In general, you might want to avoid traveling in highsec on your faction warfare character as you are in a perpetual war not only with the enemy's NPCs, but also with enemy millitia (players). The best thing you can do is to join a corporation that is in faction warfare of your choice and then ask them for the advice on how to travel. The second best thing is to have a specialised hauling character that would be unaffiliated and moves stuff for you from Jita or your trade hub to your place of PVP.
