Transfer plex from steam eve to main eve consider as RMT

So i have a friend that stay in brazil and he help me purchase like 12000plex. He logged in to his steam eve account and he do a in game contract to me.

How does that warrant a ban?

Possibly because a fresh PLEX transaction followed by a trade without getting anything in return sets off red flags. You're also not telling us how the PLEX was originally acquired, as in from the EVE store, or through some "different means."

Regardless, we can't help you with this. You'll have to file a support ticket with CCP. Sometimes it's just a false positive, and they'll help make things right if it was a legitimate transaction.

Puzzled but how do i tell CCP where do i get my plex from during the whole process? Must i send a ticket to CCP that i buying from steam account before i purchase?

i think this type of trade is even against steam rules.

Taking advantage of other country prices i mean.

Its a gift and how does that warrant as taking advantages? Does steam dictate us on having any friends on other countries?

As mentioned, i have a friend, stay in brazil and decided to gift me 12000 plex. So he purchase via steam store, login to his steam eve account and do an ingame delivery method to me.

Does that consider as RMT or any illegal activities?

You're not going to get banned for RMT if the PLEX given to you comes directly from the EVE store. The odds of the trade being detected as a false-positive RMT transaction would be very low, but if it did happen, you would need to clarify to CCP that it was gifted to you by a friend, and that you gave nothing outside of the game for it in return. It is not against the rules to give gifts in EVE.

To summarize, there should not be any problems with your friend buying PLEX from CCP and gifting it to you. RMT is when the purchase is made from the secondary black market, e.g. PLEX that was acquired by using bot-farming, and then sold on a third-party website.

12000 PLEX is quite a significant gift. It would set off flags no matter what
