EVE Offline, anyone?

I'm wondering if there is any game around which is more or less like EVE but without multiplayer part? I like mining, trading, occasional fighting, huge sandbox with decent economic model, but I hate grinding, PVP and necessity to pay for game every month despite the amount of time I actually play it (which is usually too small to make subscription anything else than waste of my money).

Ok so I buy a month for $10 to get my old character back online. Get in to a nice corp, do a few missions and I mine a bit. Earned me about 120mil isk in a few days but I played way too much, lost sleep and felt like crap now for 4 days at least. Then we get awoxed. Corp has a smart player that caught the guy quick enough but then we got war-decced. We don't say a thing and they are spamming chat about us crying. This game is full of sociopaths. Really, sick people who just want to troll you. Take what you earn, destroy it, and enjoy watching your misery. Hi-sec is not safe like it should be.

To sum it all up, if they get rid of PvP in Hi-sec, I would give them my money to play. I go to low-sec when I want to PvP, hi-sec for PVE+mining without losing everything I own to guys looking to 'feed on your tears' as they often say.

there is away
run a EVE online private server on your home computer things happen ONLY if you let them
