A job
You can make 29.7m p/hr doing project discovery if you do exactly 5 puzzles per minute for 99,000 ISK each. Once you pass the tutorial you can pass every puzzle by making an equally sized square on the top and bottom half of the screen.

If you do this whilst huffing gas in a gas miner you can make about 60-90m per hour depending on what gas you find.

This is my recommendation for anyone just starting out. You can be in a position to do both of these things within about 2 days of training.

Then of course this is bumped higher whenever you get a project discovery reward, with the Marhsal being worth 10 billion ISK, the cruiser 500m and the frigate 250m

omg. it took me over a year of doing project discovery to get the marshall blueprint. it's super-valuable.

Gas Harvesting in wormholes

Exploration

Mining (Slow and not that Profitable but cheap to get into and can get you Enough Isk for the other 2 options)

i been minning and doing mission just was looking for other options to make money

there's lots of ways of making money. i like to explore in low sec and run combat sites. you die often but the money is higher and you learn to be better too. look up DED sites on the eve uni wiki:

https://wiki.eveuniversity.org/Combat_sites#DED_rated_complexes

they tend to drop expensive modules. the hardest DED in low sec (serpentis DED 6) made me over 1 billion isk one time. but it's super hard, and more like endgame. train up for the loki or tengu if you want to do combat exploration. for DED 2-4 sites, you can train up on the jackdaw or a cruiser.

Different people like different things and are good/bad at different things.

The most obvious that require the least effort are mining and missions, so if you want to super chill you could do that but it's bound to get boring quick, probably.

You can do exploration, hacking or combat, which requires more effort to learn and do well but the income will be higher on average.

If you enjoy grindy combat you can do abyssals which takes quite a lot of effort to get good at but the income is great

If you enjoy numbers and spreadsheets then have a look at trading

Things I would avoid for income: production and hauling. You're not going to make good isk with it and possibly even lose isk in the process. Only do it if you want to.

Once you're more established in the game you get way more options and you will be able to compete better with others, increasing your profits.

If you want to PLEX your account the go to method is botting by harvesting ores in nullsec or using annom ratting bots.

Agreed. I do T5's in a 3bn passive purger Gila fit and the isk is incredible. I make more doing that then flying with some of the best incursion fleets in EVE. Still tho, its going to be a bit before i can get into T6's since those mutated components are as pricey as they are.

I like mission running for the salvage and t1, it's quite casual with a marauder, when you have enough faction rep you can spam decline the crap missions and pick and choose only the 'good' ones. I have two chars, so I can pull two level 4s off a single agent and I get a bit more choice or chances for the good ones.

The best level 4 I think is probably dread pirate scarlet, it's consistently 30m bounties if you clear it all and about 20-30m in salvage depends on rng and how many good meta 4s you get, if you can do it in 15-20 mins its basically 100m/hr+ assuming you can keep pulling that specific mission. Others of note are mining misappropriation, its 12 battleships it takes like 10 mins in a marauder its not worth that much but its quick, gone berserk another single room 10-15 mins, angels extravaganza is around 30-40m with salvage, has a structure that drops 3% implants, not always good ones but sometimes they are the 20m isk ones, unfortunately I don't like missions with tons of gates it slows things down, finally the blockade has a chance to spawn a faction rat at the end. I tend to gravitate toward the missions with a single room, you warp in, blap everything then leave. try to do as many of these per hour as possible. or do two then salvage before the wrecks despawn. I salvage with a noctis and I do drop an mtu to speed things up, or I use the salvage time to go afk and take a break while the mtu pulls the wrecks in.

some people do worlds collide and vengence but I don't usually bother with those two and skip them, I don't do burners, mainly because I can't be bothered having 10 different ships for all the different burners so I don't bother doing them either. I don't do tag missions either to preserve the faction standings a bit.

you can go around doing anomalies, I sometimes farm dens to try to get a 5/10. but the 3 & 4/10s have one or two items worth 100m or more. like the dedspace armor reppers / shield boosters and adaptive platings / shield hardeners. its just a bit more random, you might get nothing for hours.

I run 12 planets for PI mostly making repair paste. Anything with a high churn rate is going to sell. in the long run it probably pays to have a PI setup. its passive income it just depends on how much effort you want to put into it, there are various ways of setting it up, you can either keep making stuff until you're doing t3 -t4s or you can just mass produce t1's and t2's and sell them. you can have extracting planets and factory planets or you can just extract and produce on the same planet its really upto you how you want to do it. or how much effort you want to put into it.
