Permanent suspension

I got "permanent suspension", for Macro use??

I'm completely baffled what this is even saying i did wrong, because i don't have or use any form of macros, i do have a logitech mouse installed with the Logitech G HUB driver, is this flagging the anti cheat or something? i looked inside the driver just now and it does have a macro page, but i dunno how to even use it, its empty, its the only thing i can see on my system that could be causing the issue - i do not use or even know how to use any form of macro, i purchased the mouse, installed its drivers and thats pretty much it.

I tab a lot, to change over youtube videos or twitch streams, was the tabbing suspicious or something?
This game encourages going AFK, which is what i was mostly doing today, mining whilst watching things.

Before this ban message I was literally sitting inside the station scrolling through skills and ships to have a look at what i can plan towards then nope, especially if i purchased omega so i can use the omega time better, i was inside this station for 10ish mins? i then got kicked and to my shock, banned :(

I'm also curious how a macro would even give me an advantage, what does a macro do to give a player an advantage for eve?

I mined by first getting a larger smaller ship with the early ISK that was given for free for playing, got around a 500m3 internal storage ship for extra storage, i then stored the station and the asteroid belt locations on the favourites and travelled to and from using the right click menu favourite locations when my inventory was full.

I did that until i got around 3 mill saved up, purchased the 3 million cost ship that had 7k storage but only 1 mining laser slot, its all good i don't mind it mining slowly as i tend to go afk a lot anyway in these type of games, i love city builder/management games, i then went back to an asteroid belt in my new 3 million isk ship and let the ship mine whilst i watched stuff for a few hours, i even then had a nice chat during this experience with a GM who popped over a message to say hi and wlecomed to the game, then sent me an ingame email saying welcome and heres some free goodies, i return to the station after only 1 mining trip in the new large ship, around 10k m3 stored condensed velspar and then sat inside the station looking at what i wrote above - 1 mining trip.

I played EVE when it first came out back in like, 2004, my instinct when i played this again now was to do the thing i remembered from when i played back then, go mining.

I've got a feeling this logitech mouse is the culprit :( i cannot find anything on my system that would flag me as macroing v_v - I'm really sorry devs.

A literal ingame log would and could show i didn't do anything nefarious or TOS breaking, i'm ..... i'm so confused.

I write this here mostly because i'm now concerned about my PC, i honestly do not use or have used any form of macroing software, you have no reason to believe me, i know its all good - if it is possibly logitech, can anyone here help me to make sure this thing is not causing issues? The only thing ive done in the settings is changed the lights to be off, as im not interested in the led multicoloured lights, especially when im laying in bed trying to watch stuff, and changed the dpi button to number 0 on the keyboard as i don't play fps games and i don't need to change the dpi, so it gives me an extra button press for my mouse in games, mostly in path of exile.

If this happened here, it could happen to other games that check for macros, luckily it has not and it's only happened this one time in EVE, but who knows, i don't want my system being false flagged :( i will gladly uninstall this logitech software if thats causing the issue.

If the ban gets removed which im hoping it does, thats fantastic, but i can no longer play Eve online even if it is removed because, well, its not helping me my end, i have no idea why it did it in the first place, and i need help to make sure it doesn't do it again or else i will get flagged for it again.

Any help with this is extremely appreciated.

I think Eve should hack up a way for people to idle play and issue orders to their character from their phone. Like a phone app that lets you just send your ship out to mine, pvp, do a mission for a station, without them actually getting in the game until they return home to their computer.

It would make pvp fun playing some player AI and it would be more profitable shooting loot ships coming through the pipeline. More pvp bait makes it more fun.

Eveonline has a mobile game. You can trade PLEX via your phone & there is nothing stopping you from remote desk topping to a phone if you wish.

That's funny! The game is riddled with bots and multiboxers but the regular guy gets suspended LMFAO!

Uh.... no? That has nothing to do with what he said. He's complaining that the people who are actually exploiting in the game ("exploit" being used loosely here) are going unpunished and yet this normal user has been permanently banned for no good reason. I'm not entirely sure how you came to this conclusion. Low blood sugar perhaps?
