Making the move to null
So I want to finally move to null,

I want to be flying minimitar ships,

I think ratting will be my way to make income (L4 don't seem worth it with getting locked out from highsec)

I am also interested in starting to PvP (I am a terrible PvP player but willing to learn,)

So advice on what regions I could look at, then I can look a corporations in that alliance

if you want to stay in minmatar ships, their natural resists are mainly EM. so fighting rats that deal em damage will be easier to tank. this would be blood raiders and sanshas. check out https://evemaps.dotlan.net/region scroll down to the outlaw regions and sort by rats. Goons or Dracarys would probably fit. but of course you can go with any null corp and just skill into whatever you need.

for pvp minmatar has some really nice stuff like the wolf, thrasher, stabber, hurricane, cyclone, tornado, vargur... tbh I also like the minmatar ships. haha. easiest to get in is probably Karmafleet (Goons).

edit: also check out https://forums.eveonline.com/c/corporations-alliances/recruitment-center/63 and https://www.reddit.com/r/evejobs/ for recruitment. most corps also state what they do and which timezone they are active.

I joined karmfleet in my first year of playing, I think I didn't have enough skill points to enjoy it at the time.

Don't think I want to join such a big corporation anymore. Smaller corp in a big alliance is fine

maybe put up a "looking for corp" thread on the recruitment forums yourself. you can just state what you want and which timezone you are playing in and see which corps would be interested.

Congrats on wanting to go into null! Nill sec and wormholes are the best parts of the game.

Join a LS pirate corp for pvp.

Nullsec is overrated. You will be one of dozens of other numbers that are totally insignificant. Yay

It's more carebear than HS since you got miners and other industry types just hiding in the backlines with 0 enemy presence. You don't even need Dscan. Just look at local. Any red in your space will be either a cyno dude or some cloak ship wanting to 1v1 you. Beyond easy to avoid. And we have people showing off their nullsec grit. What a joke.

If you want easy money though it's hard to beat Null for the above reasons. It's the true HIGH SECURITY space imo.

Sounds like somebody from goons or horde.

Not all of null is like this. Also some null corps on the small side are very fun. Also getting into more specialized activities is the way to do it.

How does a small corp hold sov? You're probably renting or commit what you have to alliance fleet ops while your non pvp activities are mostly safe. My above example still holds true unfortunately. Been playing on and off since release and this has never changed.
